Have you ever looked into the Alt aesthetic? Well, if you have you may know that Alt is an umbrella term for anything other than the normal. Usually, people use this term as if it were one aesthetic but it technically isn't. This term originated in music to categorize indie, rock, pop, metal, folk, country, etc. outside of the 'norm'. This aesthetic similar to music usually has a very bold and different undertone to most "normal" aesthetics. 

       To people who actively use these aesthetics it is their normal. They use this day-to-day because it is something they resonate to. They feel the best in this type of dress and makeup.

       Today I did the makeup of multiple people around the school to make them "emo" (In reality most of these fit better under the category of Goth but many people prefer to call this emo).
